A topical numbing cream is applied to the area being treated approximately 45 minutes prior to procedure. A clinician will apply the TEPRSOL® in 5mm diameter circles following the stencil pattern using the Tatt2Away system. The area is treated in this way to promote quick healing and avoid scarring most commonly associated with laser tattoo removal. This begins the process of binding and breaking down the ink pigments of the tattoo.
As the area heals, the solution pulls the ink from the skin in the form of a scab. When the scab falls away, the ink goes with it. This patented process is called Trans Epidermal Pigment Release (TEPR). Treatments are performed approximately 8-12 weeks apart until all areas have been treated.
